Sashiko means "little stabs" and is a Japanese style of hand embroidery. Beautifully intricate patterns are created with a simple running stitch using thick cotton Sashiko thread. Sashiko is great for beginning and advanced stitchers alike. Easy to learn and relaxing to do!

Make your own adorable Sashiko Teddy Bear with this ingenious sampler. You begin by Sashiko stitching the designs pre-printed on your panel. Then you cut out your pattern pieces and sew your bear together. Sewing instructions are included with your sampler. (Additional supplies, such as thread, needles and stuffing must be purchased separately)

PRODUCT DETAILS:
The Little Teddy Bear sashiko design is Pre-Printed in Washable ink on Fabric (85% Cotton / 15% Linen)
The pre-printed stitch markings show you exactly where to stitch
Once you have finished stitching the design, simply hand wash the piece in cold water and the stitch markings will wash away.

About QH Textiles:

QH Textiles is a family owned and run business.

Hitomi fell in love with Australia and decided to move to Sydney permanently with her daughter Mio in 1988. When Hitomi first came to Australia she could not find any quality Japanese fabrics and she strongly felt that she needed to bring them here so that Australians could see and experience their quality and beauty.

Hitomi has taught quilting, contributed to a number of magazine projects as well as producing her own fabrics and bag patterns.

We are very lucky to have hard working and wonderful sales people and office staff.
We hope to continue to contribute high quality and unique products to the Quilt and Craft industries for many more years to come.
