My collection, Blostma and Song, draws profound inspiration from the delicate beauty of peonies and the vibrant spirit of budgie birds. Peonies, with their lush petals and rich colours, embody both fragility and resilience, reminding us of the transient nature of beauty. In contrast, budgies, with their lively personalities and striking hues, symbolize joy and freedom, inviting a sense of playfulness into our lives. Through this collection, I strive to capture the essence of these two elements, intertwining the softness of floral forms with the dynamic energy of avian life. This duality inspires me to create pieces that evoke emotional resonance, inviting viewers to reflect on the beauty of the natural world and its ability to uplift and inspire.

Born to create, Penny grew up in a vibrant household in a village in Kent, England. Introduced to textiles by her quilting mother at a young age, she was always encouraged to explore her creativity. This early exposure sparked a passion for art, textiles, and photography, ultimately leading her to study Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors at Bath Spa University.

Specializing in screen printing, Penny now owns a studio in the heart of Kent, where she produces stunning bespoke screen prints for interiors and fashion. She takes great joy in transforming her textile designs into beautiful works of art. 

Penny draws inspiration from her love of travel and adventure, continually fueling her creativity to produce new and captivating pieces.

Machine wash cold with like colors. do not use chlorine bleach. tumble dry low setting. remove promptly. use warm iron if necessary.

 

Fabric is sold in increments of 1/2 yard. Choose yardage by entering quantity of half yards from the drop down menu.

For example, 1 = 1/2 yard | 2 = 1 full yard

3 = 1 and 1/2 yard | 4 = 2 full yards

 

All fabric is cut in one continuous piece.
