Wax Tailors Chalk helps you create clear, defined lines with clean edges and lasting visibility so you can mark your fabrics with ease. Markings made with Wax Chalk stay until removed and fade once you iron the material. Wax Chalk is suitable for almost any fabric—it’s visible on darker fabrics and is perfect for heavy, textured materials like wool or felt that can be difficult to visibly mark with other tools. Be sure to use Wax Chalk only with heat-safe materials. All fabrics interact with marking tools differently, so it is always a good idea to test your Wax Chalk on scrap fabric or an inconspicuous spot before applying it to the rest of the material.
