Rustling Leaves by Liberty Fabrics (Woodland Walk B)
Discovered in the Liberty archive as a paper impression dating from the 1930s, this design was also revived as a dress fabric in 1972. Capturing the tranquility of autumnal leaves falling on a forest floor, scattered winter berries create contrast with their bright pops of colour.
From hillsides and arboretums to the captivating flora and wildlife that can be found within, there is so much to be discovered in Woodland Walk. Honouring the Great British countryside and diversity of natural beauty spots, Liberty Fabrics' designers drew inspiration from every aspect of the woodland landscapes. The collection takes us on an enchanting stroll through the very best of what nature offers, from delicate meadows to the sweet chorus of birdsong found in blooming hedgerows and the crisp rustling leaves that can be found underfoot.
Liberty Fabrics are traditionally screen printed onto soft Lasenby cotton. This base is suited for craft projects, apparel, and classic patchwork quilting. The possibilities are as endless as your imagination.
